Over this past year i have learned a lot, done a lot, and made a lot of new friends who i have related with. The good thing about making new friends is that you can see the work around you, and see their techniques and use some of them on your own work. The thought of going into art 4 was was easy, but the thought of going into AP art was difficult. Only because I knew it would be harder and i'd have to step it up. Overall it has been a fun experience.
I'm glad I took both classes, because I can see the process of building and learning. The reason i chose my concentration is because looking back at all my work i've noticed they are all colorful and exaggerated. I really enjoyed using colored pencils and acrylic paint. Not so much oil paint or water colors. i wish I did something in watercolor just to have fun with, but ime was a big part. The time during AP, towards the end, felt like it was more of a job and less like having fun. I got less motivated due to rushing and trying to get things done. i wish it could have been more stress free, and easy going. I can tell from the beginning to end where there was my most struggles. To me, I only like about 4 of my pieces. Out of 12. (for my concentration). i thank for all my previous teachers from art 1-3 + drawing for all the learning experiences. I appreciate my teacher, mrs. Rossi, for helping and giving out good advice. Although I should know by now to push the darks and highlights, I still need a lil push to make it acceptable. Anyways the projects that i have done, I all enjoyed doing especially the ones in art 4 where you told us what to do. it is hard for my to pick the things i should do on my own. i liked how we had a topic. I'll come visit some time in the next year, because the art room was the most time i have spent in high school. Thank you, again, for the fun experience. I love all my art teachers!
